After decades traveling the globe as an ethnographer to document and photograph remote cultures, I am coming home. This collection is my unfiltered love letter to Puerto Rico—a homecoming celebration of the resilient spirit, dynamic rituals, and deep cultural heritage that shaped me. By synthesizing my professional ethnographic eye with the primal, emotional pulse of my native island, these photographs capture the Bomba dancers of Old San Juan and the dramatic presence of mythical characters against the backdrop of our unique architecture and landscapes. This work is an accessible celebration of the colors, the history, and the vibrant people that define my home. This is Puerto Rico, shared with Brooklyn.
