1717 302 is a pop-up vendor space operating out of Suite 302 of the 1717 Broadway building in Brooklyn, near the Bushwick/East New York border, listed as a stop in the Arts in Bushwick Open Studios event. During open-studio weekends it sells repurposed ("repmod") clothing, oil paintings, ceramics, and bikes and bike parts, and serves cheap cold brew coffee to visitors. Rather than a traditional gallery, it functions as an informal pop-up marketplace and gathering spot inside a building that also hosts numerous other Open Studios participants during the same weekend.
