Aicon Gallery is a Manhattan gallery specializing in modern and contemporary non-Western art, with a particular focus on South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Led by managing partner Prajit Dutta with director Harry Hutchison, the gallery aims to provide a platform for artists from these regions to exhibit in the United States, presenting solo exhibitions alongside curated group shows that are international in scope. Operating from a space in NoHo, its recent program has included a solo exhibition by the artist John Tun Sein and the group show 'Between Structure and Matter: Other Minimal Futures,' co-curated by Dutta and Murtaza Vali, which framed minimalism as a global rather than exclusively Western phenomenon.
