Art galleryQueens Historical Society is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Queens, New York, through exhibitions, educational programs, and a local history research library, based in Flushing. The society operates the Kingsland Homestead, a historic house that serves as its primary venue, offering guided tours several days a week along with rotating exhibitions on Queens history and culture. It also stewards other borough historic sites, including Weeping Beech Park and Moore-Jackson Cemetery, and hosts public programs such as an annual Juneteenth celebration and author talks. The organization describes itself as active for more than 50 years, and in 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of the Kingsland Homestead.
