Berry Campbell
Art galleryBerry Campbell is a gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, founded in 2013 by Christine Berry and Martha Campbell, who met while working at Spanierman Gallery. Its program focuses on postwar and contemporary American abstraction, with a particular commitment to historically overlooked artists, including the women of Abstract Expressionism. The gallery has presented exhibitions of artists such as Charlotte Park, Syd Solomon, Ida Kohlmeyer, Walter Darby Bannard, Lynne Drexler, Judith Godwin, and Louisa Chase, and maintains an active publication program of catalogues and artist monographs. After expanding its original space in 2015, the gallery moved in 2022 into a larger Chelsea space formerly occupied by Paula Cooper Gallery and Robert Miller Gallery.
