CARVALHO is a contemporary art gallery in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, founded in 2019. Its program features international emerging and mid-career artists whose practices reconsider the increasingly fluid boundaries between the visual art, performing art, and craft realms, with an emphasis on cross-disciplinary work and the sensorial experience of the art object and space. At the close of 2023, approaching its five-year anniversary, the gallery expanded into an adjacent building, doubling its exhibition space; one gallery hosts the general exhibition program while the second is dedicated to installation and performance-based projects. CARVALHO is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA).
