Danziger Gallery
Art galleryDanziger Gallery is a fine art photography gallery in Manhattan founded by James Danziger, a former magazine photo editor at the Sunday Times of London and Vanity Fair, who opened the space in SoHo around 1990. After moves through Chelsea, the Lower East Side, and Madison Avenue, the gallery is now located on Fifth Avenue and operates by appointment, alongside a Los Angeles space. Its program divides roughly three-quarters contemporary photography and one-quarter vintage and modern work, representing photographers such as Chuck Close, Susan Derges, and Karen Knorr, and holding estates for figures including Evelyn Hofer, Seydou Keïta, and Paul Fusco. The gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America and exhibits at international photography fairs.
