Doing Art Together, Inc. is a nonprofit arts education organization founded in 1982 and based in Harlem, Manhattan. Through hands-on, arts-based programming under the banner "Opening Minds, Enriching Lives, Transforming Communities," it brings workshops led by practicing artists into New York City public schools and alternative education sites across the five boroughs. Its programs include teacher training, parent-child workshops, and student exhibitions organized with partner schools, serving children and young people ages two through twenty-two. The organization reports having reached more than 100,000 children since its founding.
