Gemini G.E.L. at Joni Moisant Weyl
Art galleryGemini G.E.L. at Joni Moisant Weyl is the New York gallery representing publications of the Los Angeles print workshop Gemini G.E.L., which has produced editioned prints and multiples by artists including Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Serra, and Philip Guston. Founded in 1984 and co-directed by Joni Moisant Weyl and Chris Santa Maria, the gallery began in a by-appointment Crosby Street loft, later occupying spaces in SoHo, midtown, and on Madison Avenue before settling into its current Chelsea location in 2012. Across three exhibition spaces it shows new Gemini editions as they are published alongside historical survey exhibitions, and hosts artist talks and book signings tied to its shows.
