The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society operates the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House, New York City's oldest Dutch fieldstone house (c. 1709), as a community museum in Ridgewood, Queens. Formed in 1975 by local residents who saved the building from demolition after a fire, the Society preserves the past and enriches the future through exhibits, events, and programming.
