Nancy Hoffman Gallery
Art galleryNancy Hoffman Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 1972 in SoHo, Manhattan, among the first galleries to open there and known from the start for showing painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video, and installation together. After 36 years in SoHo, the gallery relocated in 2008 to a Chelsea space with high ceilings and a sculpture garden used for large-scale installations. It represents roughly forty artists, including Joseph Raffael, Viola Frey, Hung Liu, and Lucy Mackenzie, with some relationships dating back to the gallery's 1972 founding, and combines main-gallery solo shows with introductory exhibitions in a dedicated project space. Nancy Hoffman Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America.
