Eric Firestone Gallery
Art galleryEric Firestone Gallery is a contemporary and postwar art gallery founded by Eric Firestone, who left the University of Arizona to open his first gallery in Tucson at age twenty-two and developed a self-taught, research-driven curatorial practice. The gallery opened its first New York-area space in East Hampton in 2010, added a Manhattan space on Great Jones Street in 2015, and expanded to a third New York location in 2020, alongside additional spaces in East Hampton and West Palm Beach. A member of the Art Dealers Association of America, the gallery focuses on reexamining significant but under-recognized twentieth- and twenty-first-century artists, working with museums and scholars on research and archival preservation; its artists have recently featured in exhibitions at the Princeton University Art Museum, the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and the Speed Art Museum.
