New York Life Gallery
Art galleryNew York Life Gallery is an artist-run contemporary art space in Manhattan's Chinatown, founded in 2022 by photographer and gallerist Ethan James Green, who converted his photography studio into a public exhibition venue. The gallery presents emerging and mid-career artists alongside under-recognized archives and twentieth-century artworks across mediums, and its program extends beyond exhibitions to readings, artist talks, process-based installations, and zine launches. It has shown work by artists including Steven Cuffie, Daniel Arnold, Drake Carr, and Sam Penn, with exhibitions ranging from "Women" in 2022 to 2025 shows such as "Pieces of Candy: 10 Artists Celebrate Candy Darling" and "Haystacks," featuring Julia Elise Hong, Christian John Munks, and Pauline Rintsch.
