Art galleryPeace Islands Institute New York is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating as the New York chapter of the national Peace Islands Institute, dedicated to interfaith and intercultural dialogue across New York City since 2003. Based in Midtown Manhattan, it runs programs including Taste & Meet, in which Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and other families share meals in each other's homes; Young Peace Builders, a youth interfaith leadership program; Hoops of One, an interfaith basketball initiative addressing antisemitism and Islamophobia; a Faith & Thought speaker series exploring belief and scripture across traditions; and interfaith cultural study trips. The organization also takes part in community events such as public-safety appreciation dinners and Ramadan and Thanksgiving gatherings.
