Peninsula Art Space
Art galleryPeninsula, formerly known as Peninsula Art Space, is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2013 by Eric Fallen, a former playwriting professor, in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy as a space to showcase emerging and mid-career artists with the support of early-career curators. The gallery operated in Red Hook, Brooklyn from 2014 through spring 2022, when it relocated to Manhattan's Lower East Side; it also runs a window exhibition space in Tribeca known as the PAS Tribeca Window. Its program favors artists living and working in New York, with additional ties to artists in Canada and Germany, and it has organized community initiatives such as arts tutoring for Red Hook youth. Current gallery leadership includes Johnny Mullen as partner and director.
