Ryan Lee Gallery
Art galleryRYAN LEE Gallery is a contemporary and postwar art gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, established in 2013 by partners Mary Ryan and Jeffrey Lee, whose combined careers in the art trade span six decades. The gallery, a member of the Art Dealers Association of America, presents exhibitions spanning post-war to contemporary art, with particular attention to feminist, Black, and Asian American as well as queer narratives across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Its program emphasizes artists whose work challenges political, cultural, material, and technical boundaries, spanning painting, video, sculpture, and performance, and the gallery places emphasis on building institutional relationships that place artists' work into major museum collections nationwide.
