Timothy Taylor is a gallery founded in Mayfair, London, in 1996 by dealer Timothy Taylor. The gallery expanded to New York in 2016 with a Chelsea location before opening a Tribeca flagship in 2023. An ADAA member, it represents an intergenerational, international roster of more than twenty artists and estates, including Alex Katz, Kiki Smith, Antoni Tapies, Eddie Martinez, Jonathan Lasker, and Honor Titus, and manages the estate of painter Victor Willing. The gallery is known for championing painters noted for bold color, distinctive surface treatment, and engagement with art-historical tradition, and also mounts historical exhibitions of postwar figures such as Philip Guston and Jean Dubuffet. It publishes exhibition catalogues and monographs featuring commissioned texts by curators and critics.
