Art galleryWAGMAG is a free monthly art guide to Brooklyn's gallery scene, published by the nonprofit ARTfront, Inc. Established in 2001 to promote exhibitions in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, it relaunched in 2008 as a nonprofit guide covering the wider borough and today serves neighborhoods including Bushwick, DUMBO, Park Slope, and Red Hook. It circulates as a free 16-page print pamphlet alongside an online edition, combining gallery listings, an events and openings calendar, maps, and critical reviews by guest writers. To be listed, a venue must be located in Brooklyn, open to the public at least two days a week, mount at least six exhibitions a year, and have exhibiting art as its primary business, with all listings subject to board review.
