Art galleryYancey Richardson is a fine art photography gallery founded in 1995 by Yancey Richardson, who opened it in SoHo before relocating to its current home in the Chelsea arts district of Manhattan. The gallery represents photographers and lens-based artists spanning generations and styles, from mid-career figures such as John Divola, Mitch Epstein, Ori Gersht, Anthony Hernandez, Laura Letinsky, Andrew Moore, Zanele Muholi, Mickalene Thomas, and Hellen van Meene to historically significant photographers including Lewis Baltz, William Eggleston, Ed Ruscha, August Sander, and Larry Sultan. Richardson holds a Helena Rubinstein curatorial fellowship from the Whitney Museum of American Art and served twelve years as vice president of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers.
