Erin Cavanaugh

I am a mixed media artist living in Greenpoint Brooklyn. I find myself exploring the intersection between art and craftsmenship. I am fascinated with layering, paper cutting and collage; most work is made up of fragments of other work. I try to bring balance and an organic feel to flowing shapes and textures. My desire has always been to inspire the observer to look longer and deeper; to find something interesting and unexpected.
