Kate Mangold is a Brooklyn-based artist working across painting, drawing, and sculptural objects, with work dating back to 2004. Her practice is organized into recurring bodies including Urban Forms, Landscapes, and Tracks and Fields, translating the geometry of buildings, streets, and infrastructure into layered, colorful abstract compositions. She is based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and has taken part in Bushwick Open Studios, opening her studio to the public alongside other neighborhood artists.
