Simon Cooper is a painter, illustrator, and printmaker based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. He holds a BFA in Illustration and Printmaking from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has maintained a Saatchi Art portfolio since 2016. His work draws on a passion for history, reimagining figures and imagery from periods including the Middle Ages, the Northern and Italian Renaissance, and the Dutch Golden Age through bold line work and vibrant color. Cooper has exhibited with the Con Artist Collective in New York, in the "LA CASA" series in Miami and Brooklyn, and at the Redux Annual Art Auction in Charleston, and has shown work internationally, including at the Onassis Cultural Center in Athens.
