Booklyn, formally the Booklyn Artist Alliance, is an artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1999 that promotes, distributes, and preserves artist books and book arts. Originally based in Greenpoint, the organization moved to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, in early 2018, a relocation that expanded its education and archives initiatives. Booklyn places artists' books and archives with universities, libraries, and other institutions, offers workshops in bookbinding and zine-making, publishes the Booklyn Education Manual, and has collaborated with activist groups on social-justice portfolio projects; the organization's own archive is held at the Library of Congress.
