Art galleryDeanna Evans Projects is a New York gallery founded in 2017 by Deanna Evans, who holds an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and teaches at the School of Visual Arts. The gallery began by staging exhibitions in Evans's own apartment and in pop-up spaces around the city before opening its first commercial location in Bushwick, Brooklyn, in 2021, then relocating to Tribeca in 2022. Its program concentrates on painting, fiber, and sculpture by underrepresented artists based mainly in New York, with recent presentations including work by Beverly Acha, Courtney Childress, Crys Yin, Xiao Wang, Tess Bilhartz, Ben Cowan, and Danielle Mysliwiec.
