Derosia

Derosia is a contemporary art gallery in Manhattan founded by Elyse Derosia, who directs the space together with Eric Veit. The gallery grew out of Bodega, an artist-run project space the pair began in Philadelphia in 2010 before relocating it to New York in 2014; it operated under the Bodega name until 2021, when it was renamed Derosia. Since opening, the gallery has focused on a diverse range of socially engaged artistic practices, largely representing emerging artists, and has presented the first New York solo exhibitions for a number of the artists it works with.
