Art galleryHauser & Wirth is an international contemporary and modern art gallery founded in Zurich in 1992 by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth, and Ursula Hauser, joined in 2000 by co-president Marc Payot. The gallery represents more than 80 artists and estates, including figures such as Philip Guston and Louise Bourgeois, and operates locations across Europe, Asia, and North America. Its New York flagship is a five-story, purpose-built gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, designed by Selldorf Architects, which opened in October 2020 and presents museum-scale exhibitions alongside publishing and education initiatives.
