Long Gallery Harlem is a contemporary art gallery founded by Lewis Long, a former Wall Street alternative-investment executive, Harvard Business School alumnus, and White House Fellow who moved into the art world after a corporate career. The gallery presents emerging and established artists of the African diaspora, drawing inspiration from Harlem's cultural heritage, including the portrait photography legacy of James Van Der Zee and the influence of the Studio Museum in Harlem. It has presented more than 70 artists across 25-plus exhibitions, among them Bisa Butler, Renee Cox, and Derek Fordjour, offering art advisory, collections management, and resale services alongside brand partnerships with organizations such as HBO and Google. Long has also helped relaunch Columbia University's Wallach Art Gallery and curated the Uptown Triennial.
