Ontopo is a curatorial platform and gallery presenting contemporary art from Hawaiʻi, the Philippines, and the broader Pacific diaspora, working across object-based art, installation, sound, and performance. Beyond its exhibitions and art-fair presentations, including with the New Art Dealers Alliance, Ontopo organizes off-site gatherings and multi-day retreats curated by Jon Santos at locations such as Bak Lim Sa, a Korean Buddhist temple in upstate New York, and the Catskill Zendo monastery, combining artist-led workshops, performance, and discussion. Its programming has addressed themes including tourism, displacement, and cultural and ecological life across the Pacific, with recent presentations at art fairs and off-site exhibitions such as "Checked Baggage."
